The „Titus“
The „Titus“ left the Bodan Wharf in Kressbronn for the first time in 1980 and is 16 metres long and 4 metres wide.
The "Titus" was named after the roman general Titus Flavius Vespasianus, who ruled the Roman Empire from 69-79 AD. According to legend in 41 AD Vespasianus pitched camp near the lake while campaigning in Germania.
Fascinated by the beauty of the lake Vespasianus named it „Titunsee“, which eventually changed into „Titisee“. This tale not only inspired the ship's name but its design as well - it is built as the replica of a Roman galley.
